Presbyterian Voice Wins Award
In National RCC Competition
Presbyterian
Voice has been recognized by the Religion Communicators Council with
a Merit Award in the category of regional publications. Voice
editor Jane Hines received the award in a ceremony held in Birmingham,
Alabama, March 26 in conjunction with RCC’s annual meeting.
In this annual competition entries in various categories
are judged by peers in local chapters across the country. The awards honor
the late Victor DeRose and Paul M. Hinkhouse, leading lithographers in
New York City.
Ronald T. Glusenkamp, chair of the DeRose-Hinkhouse
awards and Vice President, Customer Outreach, of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church of American Board of Pensions in Minneapolis, said, “These
awards validate the imagination and originality so plentiful in our RCC
family. They demonstrate the high quality of work that institutions receive
from our RCC members.”
Voice editor Jane Hines credits the excellent
work of Voice columnists, writers, designers and page editors for the
award, which was given for the June, August, October, and December 2003
issues of the Voice.
